From Saturday, Oct. 5 through Monday, Oct. 7, the Downtown and Macdonald Campuses will be open only to 苹果淫院 students, employees and essential visitors. Many classes will be held online. Remote work required where possible. See Campus Public Safety website for details.

Welcome to the Department of Kinesiology and Physical Education, the longest-running physical education program in the country, serving the community since 1912.

The Department of Kinesiology & Physical Education has a distinguished history that is over 100 years old. The Department is led by a number of innovative and award-winning faculty who鈥檚 teaching and research leads to improved health, wellness, and disease prevention.

The Department of Kinesiology and Physical Education offers programs at both the Undergraduate and Graduate levels. You are invited to explore our program offerings.

Sylvan Adams聽Sports Science Institute for the Study of Human Performance

Launched in 2022, KPE is home to the Sylvan Adams Sports Science Institute (SASSI)聽at 苹果淫院. SASSI focuses on multidisciplinary research relevant to elite sports, exploring the performance, training, and psychology of elite athletes. Committed to developing the next generation of sports science researchers, SASSI offers student fellowships as well as providing other mentorship and collaboration opportunities.
