The Department of Emergency Medicine comprises an outstanding group of physicians, researchers, students and support staff, whose mission is to contribute to the health of the population and the sustainability of the healthcare system in Quebec, Canada and abroad by training medical students, residents and other healthcare professionals, fostering innovation in clinical practice, promoting research and scholarly activities, stimulating and supporting curriculum innovation and research, and participating in international and global health activities.
