1:00 - 2:30 PM:: Come meet our wonderful Handlers and Dogs who are trained to provide you with comfort and stress relief. Hub Peer Supporters are also there to answer questions about the Student Wellness Hub's services.

2:00 - 5:00 PM:: Join MORSL and our colleagues at the Multi-faith and Spirituality Centre of Concordia University in cooking baked goods to donate to Resilience Montreal and help fight food insecurity in Montreal.

4:00 - 6:00 PM:morsl [at] mcgill.ca (subject: Mysticism%20gathering%20April%2015%2C%204-6pm, body: RSVP%20for%20this%20event) (Mysticism discussion at MORSL)Interested in learning more about mysticism? Come meet others who are curious and let's explore together! We will discuss mystic practices and experiences across faith traditions. This is a student-led series of gatherings MORSL will host in our calming Meditation and Prayer Space. Email us to let us know you are coming!

6:15 - 7:00 PM:: An energizing practice linking breath with movement. Flows will consist of breath work, sun salutations and all geared towards exploring a specific pose. 6:30 PM:: Abenaki filmmaker Alanis Obomsawin is one of the world’s most acclaimed Indigenous film directors. Join us for a screening and Q+A for her 2017 award-winning film, Our People Will Be Healed, about how a Cree community in Manitoba was enriched through the power of education.


10:00 AM - 1:00 PM:: Join us to re-imagine and co-create a place where artistic expression flourishes. Come play and explore your imagination, gather, and make spontaneous connections.

10:00 AM - 12:00 PM:: Research has supported that mindfulness and self-compassion are linked to increases in one’s overall wellbeing. This group is intended for students who are thinking about slowing down, being more mindful, and less critical of themselves- but do not know how to!

5:30 - 6:15 PM:: Vinyasa Flow is associated with dynamic kind of Yoga. Vinyasa means the connection between yoga poses (asanas) and breath, creating a continuous flow of movement. The practice embraces flexibility and cardiovascular activity that contributes to enhancing immunity, supporting cardiovascular health and uplifting the mood. 6:30 - 7:20 PM:: Feldenkrais lessons help reduce tension and effort, overcome and prevent performance-related injuries, and bring relief from aches and pains. Lessons are 50 minutes long. Students attend a single class or the series.


9:00 - 5:00 PM:: The colloquium will explore diverse topics, including, but not limited to, African religions; African hermeneutics; decolonization; climate change; African eco-theology; African indigenous knowledge, leadership, and environmental care, among others. The overarching objective is to critically examine and elucidate the core principles and distinctive attributes of African biblical hermeneutics, deeply rooted in African culture, religion, and tradition.

4:00 - 5:30 PM:: Help us welcome in spring!! Join us and Michelle in Burnside 308. Be sure to bring a jar (for your clippings) and a mug (for cocoa/juice).

4:00 - 5:00 PM:Quaker Meditationmeets and practices in MORSL's Meditation and Prayer Space in 36-3 3610 McTavish. No registration required but spots are limited.

5:15 PM:Come see! The Dean of Coventry Cathedral, will be leading the Coventry Litany of Reconciliation at Taizé which starts at 5:15pm. After the service, there will be a dinner where Dean John will speak to us about the Community of the Cross of Nails and Coventry Cathedral's continuing work of reconciliation in the Anglican Communion. This event replaces the usual Wednesday Bible Study. This event is free; donations towards supper are welcome.in order to stay for dinner.

7:00 - 9:00 PM:: Minder by Madelaine Caritas Longman at the Museum of Jewish Montreal: You are invited to join us for the launch of Madelaine Caritas Longman’s chapbook, Minder, featuring a poetry reading by Madelaine Caritas Longman, David B. Goldstein and Melanie Power. Arising from the author’s lived experience, Minder explores the nuances of life as a neurodivergent queer Jewish person: how can one build a spiritual practice when one struggles with compulsive prayer?

12:00 - 3:00 PM:: Join PhD Candidate and Public Scholar Amy Mazowita for an afternoon of comics-making and conversation about all things mental health. This two-part event will begin with a mental health-focused comics-making workshop led by author and illustrator Sandra Dumais. A collaborative group discussion between speakers and attendees will follow.
