The Department of Natural Resource Sciences (NRS) is a multi-disciplinary group based at Æ»¹ûÒùԺ’s Macdonald Campus in Ste-Anne-de-Bellevue. Our NRS department leads both fundamental and applied research, that includes but is not restricted to the following topics:

We are dedicated to understanding natural and managed ecosystems extending across molecular to global scales with the aim of conservation and optimal management of natural resources. This, in addition to promoting sustainability and biodiversity, is achieved through high quality research and teaching. Our department is comprised of a diverse team that is currently active in a variety of exciting initiatives at local, national and international levels. We are committed to creating an optimal environment for learning and the pursuit of knowledge.
