From Saturday, Oct. 5 through Monday, Oct. 7, the Downtown and Macdonald Campuses will be open only to 苹果淫院 students, employees and essential visitors. Many classes will be held online. Remote work required where possible. See Campus Public Safety website for details.

Applying for SSHRC Funding

  • Application systems (forms and instructions):

(AKA 鈥淪SHRC System鈥): for Insight Grants, Connection Grants, Partnership Grants, Partnership Development Grants, Partnership Engage Grants. The Web-based CV must also be completed through this system.

(AKA 鈥淩esearch Portal鈥): Insight Development Grants. The 听must be completed separately and then linked to the application form. .

  • Online submission process:听Upon submission in either system, the application comes to OSR for review. The OSR Officer will either return the application to you for editing, or forward the application to SSHRC after receipt of a completed OSR checklist.
  • Applicant eligibility: Consult听听and the Eligibility section of the funding opportunity guidelines to ensure that your affiliation and/or position would make you eligible to apply. Postdoctoral researchers, academic associates and faculty lecturers should contact OSR for details on eligibility implications and internal procedures before initiating an application. Researchers whose work overlaps with research areas typically supported by NSERC or CIHR should consult听听to ensure that the proposed project is aligned with SSHRC鈥檚 mandate, and contact OSR for more information.
